I completely and utterly dislike Rooney in every single way. I think he is a horrible person but when he was terrible on the pitch, that is when he deserved every single piece of criticism. He tarnished our name and showed a complete lack of respect to our manager and players and even Scholes has stressed this and I will never forgive him for this. But as long as he plays well, he should play.

Our major issue for the Pool game is not defensive imo. It is the same issue we faced in the 2nd half tonight that worries me. That of a midfield that go missing when the going gets tough. They aren't good enough but that has been evident all season. If (and when) we fall short in all competitions come the end of the season, then the owners will be under serious pressure to release some funds on quality talent and this talk of "umpteen million in the bank" will be tested.

There were a few occasions during last season you could see Berbatov getting pissed off due to lack of options when he has been looking for a pass or waiting for a player to make a move.
