He had no problem being behind Rooney/Tevez and then Rooney/Owen/Hernandez

Just like Teddy had no problem being behind Yorke/Cole

As for Parker, he knew the wealth of midfield talent at Chelsea at that time yet signed anyway

I do wonder how he would perform for us, and if he would have the hunger, I dont doubt the quality as he was outstanding for us, has there been a player with a better first touch and awareness in the premier league? the guy was that good.

People say he was lazy or never ran, yet why run about getting yourself out of breath when you have the intelligence to sit and create space just by standing still, that is the sign of a player with a natural football brain.

Anyhow, it wont happen as we have signed (or are signing) Ade so I expect if we do sign another striker it will be someone from abroad that will be happy to play 20-25 games in his first season, rather then someone that needs to be first choice.

If I was Hernandez I'd be royally pissed off at losing out to Wellbeck. I think he is a much better player to complement Rooney. Have you seen that much in Wellbeck, cause I'm unconvinced at the moment?

Agree with this. Hernandez always looks pretty sharp and dangerous to me, but i guess ol' fergy thinks welbecks link up play is better and hernandez is a good sub option.

So when Hernandez slaps him with a transfer request in January...
