Gera has it right, great player but not in a relegation struggle. Does his contract run out in the summer ?
I agree with you all. Not a fighter. I think he said today he wants his loan period to become a permanent one. Monaco suits him perfectly.
On current performances Berbatov would have scored goals. We couldn't accommodate more than one of Ruiz, Berba, Bent or Taarabt. Now that the rest of the team is fit he would have made a difference! Think we missed the goals not his character!
As a fan you support a team and not an individual. But there are players we like and others we don't. Berbatov was skillful, but there was not one player put along side him that he created a partnership with. For about 4 months Berbatov worked harder than his reputation said and was part of a team, but then he reverted to type, sulking and being more of an individual than a team player. You have to ask why as a professional footballer getting good wages, he can do it for 4 months then decide to revert back to normal.
We are missing the Berba of 2012-13, but not the one of 2013-14. If we could have last season's Berba back, he would be fantastic. But if we'd had that Berba for the first few months of this season he wouldn't have been packed off to Monaco in the first place.

I think we are missing him, would of scored the pen at spurs, would like to see felix train him hard, and he might have popped in with a few goals, but we cant play him with hugo,
