you have to remember that the three young contenders Cleverley,Rodwell and Wilshere were all injured, so the only options were the dross that have played before. They will form the midfield (probably with Oxo if Arse plays him in the middle) for the world cup group games
Are you sure? Terrible? Can understand people saying he's not that good, but to say he'es terrible with 40odd england caps and a league winners medal is deluded.
So I see this thread has gone completely off topic, FWIW the main thing Parker is good at is winning the ball back when he gives it away, which is all the time, tries simple passes that get intercepted and because he is only 5-10 yards away he can go and make the tackle that everyone jizzes over after the game. England have nobody else though because we are **** at producing the technically good player atm, and when we do have a promising young technical player (last one I can remember is Joe Cole) we don't use him properly and pick the guy who runs about at 100 mph not really doing anything in the technical guys preferred position. As for Kayal, not a chance we will get him imo. Very very good player who would have far bigger clubs looking at him if he was available for the £5 mil reported. Who knows with Nicola and his DVD though
I meant players who have played the majority of their career like Cole has, too early to judge the others on how England will use them. Agree they are all good technical players. Although I doubt Lallana will ever play for England
I've also got to say whoever chose the photo for Capello for the bbc article is a genius http://gyazo.com/b0ad030a8b2630b04cbcd0fb88ecd1d4 **** YOU BUDDY
I really can't believe that there are people that think Parker is a technically gifted player That's as funny as saying Pompey are going to win the Premier League this season
You mean you accept my that my non-comparison between Forecast and Bailkowski was valid after all..? Goodness, it only took a week, Dan.
