You can "carry on" as muh as you like! The fact is, as I reported, Berahino told his chairman to "do one," and Berahino has been rounded on by the fans. If Berahino signs another contract, he's proven himself to be another Adebayor, and I will disown him, as will others. And when, on £50k per week, he fails to keep the Baggies in the Prem, his fans will round on him, too. I cannot see what Berahino has to gain from signing a contract that ties him to WBA. Sure, if he's going to sign a contract that has a buy-out clause for £25m, then we'll buy him, provided that the contract makes provision for that £25m to be paid in instalments. If Berahino's advisors do not sort that out, then they will be negligent, because there are not many clubs (and none that will buy Berahino) that will be able to put £25m up front.
Like I said, I couldn't really give a **** about any of that. If Berahino signs a new contract, I'm going to watch you squirm and try and wriggle out of those comments
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...after-patience-snaps-over-Victor-Wanyama.html Looks like Levy's tactic's may have started to backfire
The 'Shrewd Genius' is little more than an agitating little shyster according to Spurs' direct rivals, Southampton, WBA and West Ham
The thing is, Levy's greatest weapon has been that clubs like saints, W.B.A etc have traditionally needed the cash and could be bullied a bit when it came to finances, that's just not true now. The new Premier deal means that clubs can afford to say meet my price or no sale.
True, maybe the power shift that HIAG keeps going on about is power shifting away from Spurs to such clubs ?
There are a group of clubs who could be there threatening the 5th to 7th places. Spurs and Liverpool really need to be careful because the likes of Saints, Swansea Palace and West Ham will be looking and are capable of taking them.
Remind us, again... how did you attempt to tap-up Benzema go? Oh, that's right... you were well and truly told to "**** off!" You are so far up your own arse that you're trying to **** out your own tonsils!
We didn't tap up Benzema you dozy plum and what has he got to with your North London power shift or Berahino won't play for WBA again bleatings ? Nice to see you getting desperate and plucking random bollocks out of the air, it's a sign of you losing it. I expect to see a picture of a fish soon
On the contrary, this thread's purpose is seek intelligent opinion as to what Spurs should offer for Berahino in January. It's hardly a "failure" to seek views on a potential future event. You really are getting desperate, PIXIE! I think you've suffered on "owning" too many! Either that, or you're still smarting from my "masturbating monkey" jibe. It was corker, and had the entire site laughing at you. That cannot be easy?
Well, you certainly can't! My heart always sinks when you turn up - as, inevitably, you always do - on my threads, because I know, at that point, all intelligent debate is finished, as you (and your gormless pack of ****-wits) will drag the thread down into the gutter. I work really hard to keep my threads wum-free, but when you turn up you have absolutely no intention of entering into any kind of debate. All you do is piss everyone off and make yourself look like a fool, PIXIE.
Truth is, I couldn't give a toss whether we get Berahino or not. He wasn't a player that I saw as a must-have before the furore, and he isn't one that I see as a must-have now. Clearly, Levy doesn't view him as a must-have player, or he would have coughed up the cash needed to bring him to the Lane.
If Berahino signs a new contract it will only be to insert an agreeable release clause. He will leave WBA, they're just trying to get the max for him.,
