Saying a big club is vague as ****, but it clearly didn't mean bigger than West Brom. Would Stoke even count as being a bigger side? They're currently a more attractive proposition, but that's mainly down to the manager. Was Berahino not available in January, then? Did West Brom have some bizarre transfer ban that prevented his sale? He was available. Nobody signed him.
If West Brom is the bar and I say a bigger club, then of course it's going to be a bigger club than West Brom ! Manager and players at Stoke make them a more attractive proposition, I think he'd probably fit in quite well there. Being available means he's available in Jan and in the summer.

The striker has a year left to run on his current deal. I'm sure that each and every one of us is hoping that young Saido has an absolutely cracking end to his season to enhance his future prospects - be that a new an improved contract at the Baggies or elsewhere ... perhaps a couple of hat-tricks in his next couple of games ... with a fair number of penalties (and associated red cards possibly?) to get that particular monkey off his back ... ...
