It depends what kind of contract he signs (if he signs one, at all). My betting is that Berahino wants to come to Spurs in the January window. If Levy wants to pay by installments, but Peace, in order to try to force Berahino to stay at the club, demands unreasonably to be paid the full whack up front, then Berahino will have to be a complete and utter ****-wit to sign a contract that doesn't include a get-out in the event that Peace won't take installments. Etc. Until it happens none of us are any the wiser, and if it does happen I fully expect it to be academic, and that it won't prevent us getting the player in January, should we still want him. Either way, I'm not fussed; but it has been hilarious watching you get more and more wound up over this.

(Birmingham Mail) Well, if the Baggies go belly-up, Peace will have only himself to blame, what with spending money he doesn't have and failing to balance his books by refusing, for example, to let us have Berahino at a price that Levy was prepared to pay, and on terms dictated by Levy. Peace might be a hard negotiator, but that counts for nothing if you don't know when to cut your loses and let the player go for the price that Levy wants to pay.
