I think he is one of those strikers though, you know, the kind that does bugger all so unless they score they look useless. Not my favourite but would be useful(ish) addition to the squad if he came cheap enough.
Agreed. He is kind of like the complete opposite to Suarez. Suarez is involved in absoloutely everything and even when he doesn't score 90% of the time he's had a good/great game. Bent on the otherhand does nothing unless he scores. Could work well as a partnership?
I have come to the opinion if we can get him on a steal for 10 million then i'd be happy. But we can't and thus i really hope this is bollocks. Spending massive sums again on average players has got to stop! I don't think we'll buy anyone. I think Kenny is holding out on Carroll performing.
