A great read.

"When I make some skill on the pitch I can hear his [Harry's] voice saying, 'Benny! Very careful!', and with a smile I say, 'OK', because I understand why he says that."

He's talking about the dummies, I guess, and I can't get my head around it.

Why haven't the rest of the premier league sussed him out? I know he's not going to lump it up the pitch; I can't be the only one.

It's probably because he switches between hitting a ball down the line and cutting inside and beating his man, Inda.
The ball down the line to Bale is often incredibly dangerous, so they'd rather make sure that they cut that off and take the risk that he's going to make them look a bit stupid.

..... Which he regularly does!!

He never fails to come across as a really genuine sort of guy. Long may he stay - and he certainly seems happy here, with his city flat, his Smart car, Oyster card and N17 hair stylist!!

Its the split second of indecision he creates in the bloke facing him, I think he's extremely skillful for a FB, I can think of many attacking players that would like his ability to drop a shoulder either way and sell you one, and knowing he's going to do it sometimes doesn't help you. I remember a defender (name escapes me) describing playing against Chris Waddle, he said " he's a real pain, you know whats coming, but there's nothing you can do about it when he's on one!" <laugh>

They appear to be matching as well...... Wonder if he now has a deal?

Quality player. Never thought he'd become the player he is now when he was playing under Jol/ Ramos. 'Arry really has made him, in my opinion, the best in the league in his position on current form. Definitely one of the first names on the team sheet for me.
