Hardest fight I ever saw. How they weren't both laid out after 6 rounds was beyond me and I honestly thought Benn was going to get knocked out. I'm not as much of a boxing fan as most of you so I can't claim to have seen some of the other fights mentioned but the Benn v McClelland fight lives long in the memory. It was the end of both of them, McClelland obviously for the damage done and Benn never fought as well again.
An extended version of this is on tonight (tuesday) on ITV4. It really is a tremendous show. I have since discovered that the neurosurgeon said there is no reason McClellan shouldn't make a full recovery. He left the care of the NHS in the April (fight was in Feb). He got jetted back to the states and then the problems got worse.
