I doubt he's going to make it into October just at the moment! Even before the sending off, they looked so under-coached compared with Leicester.
He might not even make it to the end of this game. He’s not been helped by Hayden, who got a straight red in the first half.
Mike Ashley's the sort of guy who'll take the long view, and give him at least another game, I mean, it's only vs Man U...
Showing himself up again. Should have stayed at Wednesday, somehow he still held some stock in the game to those who don’t know any better.
i hate this ****. more so than pardew, souness and dalglish. that shouldn't even be feasible. honestly man, i utterly despise this disgusting fat ****.... I wish he’d ****ing stop saying “wuzz”. as a manager he is an irrelevance, the only thing remarkaable about it is that it is littered with betrayal. he demonstates time and time again he has moral compass of a dead slug. he has willingly bought in to being part of a corrupt and vindictive regime and immediately started puking up its soundbytes. **** the disgusting ****. I see Brucies really endeared himself to the Geordies
I suspect if he does suffer the indignity of being sacked before Xmas he might call it a day management wise, and concentrate on writing books
Glad to see you’ve softened your stance on Mr Bruce! In fact, I almost feel you’re... warming to him Fear not Charon, if there isn’t a significant upturn in results very soon, you’ll find yourself in employment. Do you take managerial careers to Hades?
Some stat on MOTD or SKY of Premiershit managers with 300 plus games, he now has the lowest win rate 27% ...
Relatively meaningless, I suspect any coach or manager managing the supposed bigger clubs will in most instances stand a better chance when it comes to win rate! The only counter argument being that you need to be a supposed proven manager to secure one of those top positions. So, accept a role with one of the lesser clubs in The Prem and your win rate more often than not will also reflect that clubs ability to compete.
But he continues to get employed, rather than fall off the radar like curbishley, dowie, coppell, di canio, pardew or the like. So there’s something impressive in that regardless.
South Shields Gazette enjoying the stats ... https://www.shieldsgazette.com/spor...er-league-relegation-under-steve-bruce-638480 Bruce has the worst record of any active manager to have been in the dugout for more than 300 Premier League games. The ‘Geordie’ also has the worst record including those out of work. Bruce has a win percentage of 27.8%. Tony Pulis is next on 30.4%, then Joe Kinnear 32.1%, Alan Curbishley 32.9%, Mark Hughes 33.9% and Sam Allardyce 34%. Newcastle United have been managed by THREE of that bottom SIX.
