Gies a break. It's Friday and it's been a long week!

Still waiting on examples of what the SPL have done wrong recently though.

They've not done anything at all and therein lies the problem. Same with the SFA.

They hid and watched through their crossed fingers that they didn't have a decision to make regarding Rangers administration/liquidation and various assorted wrong doings. They were lucky that a huge part of the problem has disappeared.

The decision to not accept a newco Rangers to the SPL should not have been put to a vote. It didn't need to go as far as that - newco didn't meet criteria for entry - easy decision to make surely and not force clubs to make a choice between revenue, fans views and sporting integrity?

Once a newco was papped to one side a decision on the club to make up the 12 - Dunfermline vs Dundee - should've been made but it wasn't.

They seem unable/scared to make a decision.

I thought it wasn't going to be voted on if they reject rangers application to start in the 1st. The SFA only really have the power the clubs give them. If they don't like something then they will form there own league just like the SPL.

    Money talks n all that...

If it boosts a clubs finances...even by a small %, it's bound to get a positive vote.

Sky sports reports that Falkirk, Morton, and Raith Rovers have been joined by Dunfermline and Clyde in signalling their intent to vote against any proposal that involves the Newco being parachuted into the 1st Division. Third Division club, Clyde have stated that "any proposals for change should not be rushed as these have been" and that they should "be done by consensus and not through threat or inducement , again, as these have been".

Hopefully, all the other SFL clubs or at least the overwhelming majority of them, will see these proposals for what they are, in the way Clyde appear to have done, show some backbone and tell the SPL to get lost.
