yeah its only the most technical of their players that are the small ones, like any team they then have to pan out certain areas with ballwinners and people who can compete physically, however they have managed to breed players who can pass the ball as well as most creative midfielders too - thats the pinnacle.
Reeves looked pretty natural playing just behind the front man. I'm prepared to believe he can play at left back, but reckon it would be a waste of his attacking qualities unless someone can verify that his defensive ones are just as good. Class gets a player further in the game than natural athleticism. Hard work in a gym and on the pitch can turn a weedy kid into a monster player. A low centre of gravity helps with ability on the ball. Class is the pre-requisite of a good player, height is secondary - it can be good, but it is by no means essential.
Wasn't Kevin Phillips a right back for us as a scholar and is of similar height? We ditched him as he wasn't big enough and the next team he played for were short (no pun intended) of players so stuck him up front...the rest, as they say, is history.
