The whole team needs our support not just some areas C'mon people (Rufus in particular) this is our first chance of silverware in eleven years, weve had nothing but dispair for the last five years so stop moaning just because weve conceded 19 goals instead of 18 Or because BWP hasnt scored in eight games, if the whole team stops scoring then yes we could have a bit to worry about (i.e. we cant depend on one man to score the goals - when we got relegated from the Prem because it was just Bent scoring and he got injured)
I've said the other midfielders like Hughes and even Stephens add more solidity to the midfield when under pressure and stick with it, they were more appropriate for this type of game. Pritchard would do better as a sub to build up his L 1 experience; he's part of a unit not on his own like Hamer as GK.
Sorry but for me Sullivan is the better goalie, and before too long Pope will be better than either. Just my opinion.
I'm a suli fan too (thought he would start the season as number 1), but Hamer hasn't done anything to be dropped IMO. 2 very good L1 goalkeepers.
I feel a lot safer with Hamer in goal than Sullivan to be honest. Sullivan is a decent league one keeper, but I don't think he's anything special. I'm hoping Pope develops as is expected as well.
RE Suli - just have to remember Oldham away when he made 3 world class saves. One from our very own Ceddy!
yeah, i think sully will be off next year. he seems the journey man type and is often on twitter going on about sitting on the bench. think the plan is for gough or pope to come good and be on the bench for next year
