Anyone else get the feeling benni is going to end up handing in a transfer request due to 'lack of match time'.

i dont understand pardew and think we should be playing him behind the dembas every match.

we all know he is capable.:undecided:

We're 5th, mostly without Ben Arfa.

Ben Arfa can hand in a transfer request if he pleases but he has to realise that he needs to pass the ball. It's a team game and he is too greedy. He has the potential to be a sensational player if he uses his team mates a lot more.

The system we have at the moment works, and we need two proper midfielders, two proper wingers and two proper strikers, no room for him at the moment unless he bucks his ideas up then the right hand side can be his.

Yeah he was so poor vs Brighton and Blackburn. We can't carry him. As good as he can be, he needs to be consistent, we seem to play better without him at the mo.

I have the feeling he's going to shine next season though.... Fingers crossed

case closed lol

Not being funny, he is technically our best player BUT if you built a team around him what effect would that have on player like Ba, Cisse and Gutierrez. Got to look at the bigger picture rather than just one player.

I think Pardew is doing it the best way possible.

Publicly he says what an exciting talent he is and is nothing but positive. Behind closed doors he is clearly saying: Unless you are willing to put in a shift, all the talent in the world won't get you a starting place.

We got HBA on the cheap because he has thrown his toys out of previous prams. He grows up or he moves on.

That advice was completely hollow, however, every time Ameobi ambled onto the pitch

I seen Lee Ryder said the other day, that if we got a decent bid in for him in the summer, we would accept it, and I think that's whats going to happen. Such a shame really. I still think he's probably the player most of our fans would pay to go and watch.

If only we could blend Gutierrez's work ethic and stamina with Ben Arfa'a technical ability........we'd have probably the worlds best winger/attacking midfielder.

Ben Arfa really should be challenging for an International place, looking at Cabaye and Nasri, similar age, technically great but also work their *******s off too.

Either he becmes the player we want him to be, or we'll make a profit on him. I'm not that bothered either way

What Pardew wants him to be a defensive player, not what we want him to be attacking with alot of freedom like Chelsea are using Mata and Tottenham are using Bale.

The longer this ****e goes on the more i believe he'll go yeah.

It's pathetic, the comments Pardew keeps making. One week he'll say one good thing about his attacking ability and then he'll use the rest of his time to spout all this stuff about how he doesnt know how to play in this league, has no defensive ability, has a poor work ethic, etc...

Its the whole work ethic thing that annoys me the most. Every time ive seen him lose the ball he chases back for it. If its all about work ethic how on earth did Obertan get so many matches at the start, how has Shola had so many appearances this season or Sammy had as many games?

Pardew started playing a 4-3-3 / 4-2-3-1 formation which would suit Ben Arfa/Ba/Cisse amazingly while they were away with **** stand-ins, yet has abandoned it now that the players are back?

I think the main problem isnt Ben Arfa, its that Pardew doesnt have a clue how to play him. He keeps saying he wants defensive wide players and crosses (yet plays obertan and gutierrez...), he's the same sort of mold as Mata, Silva, Nasri, etc... Theyre given space to roam and create, Ben Afa isnt.

It'll be annoying as hell to lose our most technically given player in ages over nothing...

I'd be heartbroken if he left. So much excitement surrounded him at the start of the season. But it doesn't seem to have happened for him so far. I really hope it does though because he's shown in flashes what a great player he is. So much more natural talent than jonas and obertan. I look at Chelsea with Mata and it gets me frustrated because I think that's how Benny should be !

Everytime Benny starts we usually lose by a wide margin. 3-1 against City, 3-0 Chelsea, 5-2 Fulham. We are better off without him in the starting line up, he is better as an impact sub at this moment in time, simples!

I Completely agree with you.
