He wouldn't got to LFC, and he'd cost you a good 25-30m.

I hope he's too good for where Liverpool are at... He's certainly too good for where we are at!

If he goes, I'd prefer to see him go somewhere else than Newcastle B (As I call Liverpool... who seem determined to expensively rebuild their team out of our squad). I'd like to see him in the Champions League with a good club capable of winning it. Liverpool need to drastically up their progression to make them worthy.

However, if the money is right, it doesn't matter what I like does it?

Liverpool have proven they can spend obscene money on crap so why not obscene cash on quality.
They may have the Saurez cash floating around too.

Ben Arfa is great and one of our most exciting players, WHEN he's in the mood and is fit enough.

I reckon he'd still cost an utter fortune given the madness of the transfer market but that doesn't necessarily mean he's worth all the fuss YET.

He's still got some ways to go to be called 'world class' because consistency is still an issue. Does he deliver an effective performance in some capacity every single time he plays? Not sure.
To be genuinely world class he'd have tucked away that chance against Anji the other week – or squared the ball. No question, clinical and simple – not trying to be too clever and chip the keeper.

LFC would have to blow all of their summer transfer budget and some to land him. Hatem will only agitate for a move if CL and wages make it impossible to turn down, won't have anything to do with it being Liverpool.
If word gets out we're willing sellers for a certain price you'll see Man United, Arsenal and Chelsea pitch in and then Blendin' Todgers will have to settle for Yossi Benayoun.
