Very well said and a nice reminder, I think I'm one of the ones getting ahead of myself.

Agreed. Lest we forget how highly the Spuds rated Walker when he broke on the scene.... <whistle>

Speaking of right backs, I'm sure Sagna is enjoying his time over there at City, what a tool. Going from one of the best recognised RB's in Europe, to some unknown. Sure from a financial point he is making more, though I really fail to see how making 80k a week and supposedly 100k+ is that much of a huge difference, it's not like you're exactly going to die and go poor on 80k a week but hey whatever. From a footballing standpoint though, his career is pretty much in the gutter right now, footballing wise.

And let's say City do win the league, lol will Sagna even get a medal as he's required to make at least 10 league appearances? And assuming he does get a medal, would he really have felt a part of it?

    Enjoy the bench Sagna. :D

Agreed. Debauchy has been excellent when he's been fit.

It's a good sign though based on current form its pretty hard to pick for both RB and LB positions. Wenger has always been a quality manager when it comes to finding Fullbacks.

Yes but against that we had Cole, Silvinho, Clichy, Gibbs, Sagna, Jenks, Bellerin, Lauren.

It's at CB where Wenger always had the ability to mix the class (Campbell, Toure, Kos) with the awful (Cygan, Squallachi)

Santos had real ability though. He was technically excellent.. just wasn't that interested in defending.

He's now playing in the 4th tier of Brazilian football which says a lot about his mentality, if not his physical ability.

Remember it was basically like having 2 LWs when he played. He scored some crucial goals for us at times. Would have been a better option than Gervinho at times.
