Snaggs - I suppose it's a question whether you need to be a "real Cardiff fan" to wish Craig all the best whatever he decides.

Does it mean if you think Craig has chosen to go elsewhere rather than follow through his expressed intent to only join Cardiff if he left Man City, then he has in someway let us down?

I don't necessarily think so myself though I can see the other point of view. For those that do, it does NOT mean you aren't a "real Cardiff fan".

It's a matter of whether you want the best for Cardiff City FC or for Mr. Craig Bellamy - that's what makes the difference. If there's one solution that satisfies both, then great.

Craig DOES love our club, of that there is no doubt, but Liverpool would be one last shot at the big time for him so fair enough. Sorry Ace and Sussex, but I can't dislike Dai. I'd take him any day posting on here over that arch pillock Aussie. Dai is harmless enough but can be annoying on times - Aussie is just a poinonous little twat.

The fact that Dai's opinions, whether they are seriously held or not, are just like pissing in the wind and getting it back over his boots is hilarious.

I was not commenting on the subject, merely on jck200's insistent in various quotes of saying things like "We all wish..." or Every True Cardiff fan would...." or "no true fan could..." (Don't quote me jck they are only example of a mode of speech) as if he has the right and the authority to speak for all.
I merely pointed out, as I have on other occasions that he does not have the right. In saying things like he said he assumes to speak for me and you and every other Cardiff City Fan, (with the implication that if we do not agree with his position then we are not true fans) and he has no right to make that asssumption.
Whether or not I agree with his comment on this occasion or any other is not relevant. I merely point out that he has no right to speak for me. i am more than capable of speaking for myself. I pulled him up on it on another post where he said that he was sure all bluebirds wished the jacks well in the Prem. I didn't and I don't. He has no right to make the assumption.

Forget your stance against another poster allegedly speaking for you for a minute, I think you've got a valid point. All I said was that being a "real Cardiff fan" has nothing to do with anyone's opinion about Craig coming here or not.

If someone doesn't particularly wish him well if he choses not to come here again, that has nothing to do with being a real Cardiff fan - the two things are completely seperate.

I am a supporter of CCFC first and foremost - the players who turn out for the club at any time are by their very nature, transient. Life goes on under Malky now - we did not die because DJ has gone nor will we if Craig doesn't come back.

I won't be upset if he does not come here. Yes he would be boon but rather see the money spent on a decent pacy right winger who is fit, and a keeper to replace Heaton (Hanneman is a free agent waiting for a club!), and abig striker who is better than both Parkin and Gestade.

Who knows though if he goes to Liverpool, then when he gets bored sitting on the bench he can come here on loan for a fraction of the price!!
