Hendo's crosses look quite deadly and he can only improve, just needs to get better at beating his man.

Maybe that will never be a part of his game though? He can work on them, but some players need that extra help close to them, quick give and go and whip the ball in or get by your man. Movement off the ball can be lethal for him I feel. Kuyt doesn't have the best of moves but finds ways around players.

True, Beckham never went past players but give him space or some sort of target in the box...

Exactly, even Stevie G doesn't exactly have loads of moves, but uses his movement and awareness that makes it seem like he blows by players ( or used to) with ease. Been a long while since I have seen that stevie g.

My thoughts exactly Skylarker + the fact that he is another 90.000£ a week bench warmer when Henry said that he wants to slash our wage bill No no lets stay well clear

That's fair enough. It's only that from some of my family who have dealt with him on a business and personal level they don't speak very highly of him, not just going on hear' say. They don't have a grudge against him, just that he's not very nice, extremely thick and had no regard for his money. This is from a few years ago so i'm not sentencing him here, only pointing out that he could be a good signing but his baggage is probably earned. I think he would strengthen us, providing the King wants him (in which case he will have weighed all the pro's and cons)

Irrespective of if he signs for us mate we dont know if any or all of our players are nice or nasty people or not off the park unless their paths cross ours.

As regards for him being thick i think not.

Its what he does for us on the pitch that matters as we know.

But if he re-signs he will have to accept that his status is as a back up player.

If we are in need of an over the hill, often injured, over-paid goalscorer then why not go for Raul <ok>

Rumours about Afellay are much more exciting, if unlikely.

Well according to this journalist. All reds almost to a man all want to play Bellamy over Kuyt:

    http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footba...y-to-see-craig-bellamy-return-91466-29311709/

I'm not anti Bellamy- I'm cautious about it- but not anti Bellamy- but this article seems questionable.
