Watching the videos of him on YouTube he doesn't look like an out and out striker, he actually reminds me a lot of our Adel, like a skillful attacking midfielder that scores a few goals. I don't see what role he is being bought in to play, especially if we are looking to get Ntep who fills that sort of role too. Hopefully if he comes in he will do well but his scoring record doesn't leave me thinking he is the answer to our problems!
He's in for a medical tomorrow, if AJ & Zamora passed our medicals then as long as he's breathing he'll pass... http://www.sempreinter.com/2014/01/27/belfodil-qpr-medical-tomorrow/?
1 goal every 5 ****ing games is not what we need, his expected 4 by the end of season is going to help us is it.
For a usual 3pm Saturday game I think the deal has to be done before 5pm the night before. So unless the deal has already been certified and you're waiting for him to be unveiled then no, he won't be eligible. Surely you'd want him to have a few days training anyway? Could be like playing with 10 men if he hasn't played with your players and/or doesn't speak English. Mind you, Redknapp is the dramatic type. What is the general consensus to the signing of this guy? He's got pretty pathetic scoring record considering the amount of games he's played, but that's just based on a two-second Wiki search. Have any of you seen him play?
This season - one start and seven subs appearances. Probably adds up to around 2 and a half games at most. Difficult to score if you're not on the pitch.
got to be honest, i dont know anything about this guy..... Are we really that bothered? Didnt we go through all this with hughes..?
SportMediaset: The negotiations between Belfodil & QPR have fallen apart.. 1 Christopher HanssonTuesday January 28th, 2014Latest articles The negotiations that would take Ishak Belfodil to QPR seems to have fallen apart. According to Sport Mediaset, has the deal been stalled due to a bonus based on how often he plays. West Ham may still be interested in the French-Algerian striker. We are waiting for further updates regarding any negotiations ..
Don't look good: - Belfodil agent returns to Italy after QPR change terms, West Ham could steal the player Posted by SPORT WITNESS on January 28, 2014 at 16:09 in Sport Witness Football View Discussions Ishak Belfodil could have been announced as a QPR player today if things had gone to plan. His agent travelled to London with the assumption he'd be doing so to close a deal with the Championship club and get a transfer through before the window started to close. However, it's not quite worked out like that according to an exclusive from TMW in Italy, who will have likely spoken to the agent. There's a claim that QPR changed the terms they were set to offer Belfodil, leaving his agent returning to Milan empty handed and probably wondering what had just happened. On Tuesday night there will be a new meeting, this time in Milan to see if the deal can be saved. Should the QPR option fail for Belfodil then his agents have already set up an alternative club in West Ham. Belfodil is a 22 year old Algerian international forward, currently at Inter Milan. Any move would likely be initially a loan given his complicated ownership. With his agent seemingly happy to leak updates of negotiations to the Italian media then more should be known soon.
