Couldn't post last night on the game, so here goes now.

That's how to do it the hard way. Three points earned for a game we would have been lucky to get one. Solid enough at the back except for that awful fckup from Morro, but no flair and little imagination. On the day it was the right way to go about it against a side that couldn't put the ball in the back of the net for love nor money.

Basically two counter attacking sides and Brentford fell into the trap. They were given the option to play it about and have most possession but therein lay their downfall. We played the game that suited on the day and pinched the goals especially the second one.

They say you can't do better than take all three points but you can - it would have been nice to see us take a side like that apart to get them.

The absence of Mendez and Zohore in particular, and only bench spots for Gunnar and Paterson meant Warnock won the day by picking the right team for the day and playing the right way as well. Paterson for Feeney was a masterstroke. Another victory for Warnock's experience.
