EVERY TIME testing is mentioned there is a caveat that less than 50% of those spaces are taken up .. opening it to the wider picture people who are supposed to be getting it are not, because non qualifiers are turning up that "they think they might need to have a test" I am family of a person that has been in care home where one of the residents have died and more have tested positive …. i show no symptoms nor does my xyl .. so she/ we are holding off for a test there is many that are not and taking current spaces with no need ….. agree whole heartedly with LOA's comment nothing to do with football …. so whats your point?...
Keep them safe John. As an aside I notice that FIFA have suggested 5 substitutes be used in the remaining games to allow games to be closer together. A great idea in my books but personal safety has to come first in all decisions. Stay safe one and all.
Football, like everything else, will only be allowed to continue (in whatever form) when the government allows. EFL and the Prem can only guess.
What ever happens, this season will only be finished behind closed doors. Mass gatherings like pubs, clubs, sport events and concerts will not be allowed this year unless they can ensure social distancing can be adhered to. Chris Whitty himself said social distancing will be here for at least this calendar year. One other thing I can predict, is the press questions today and for the next few weeks will still ask about releasing lock down. And even though one reporter asked the question, the other dimlow reporters will also ask it in case the minister changed his mind after the first question. The best one though was the Bristol post asking that because Bristol is low in comparison to the rest of the country can Bristol be first out of lock down.
there are actually very few Q's that can be asked and the Evil Post don't exactly have the brainiest reporters most of the time ….. bringing in the public with a Q is probably an answer to combat the repetitive recycling of the same old bone … To be honest on the same drift as yourself … there is really no point in having news media Q's .. just repeats of days gone by. THERE ARE STILL AMOEBIC ERJITS OUT THERE belying the .gov for the way they have handled it .. bit like the few, that seemed like millions stating people wanted to stay in EUROPE .. and HINDSIGHT indicates that most of them attended the rally's in LONDON etc … almost all 80,000 of them ...lol.
