We beat Ipswich 3-0. Two goals from Mark Marshall and one goal from Freddy Yao. Ben Reeves played for 30 minutes.
Robinson said that Marshall would get 60 minutes and Reeves 30 Minutes. They will both get 60 mins on Saturday.
No trialist other than Freddy Yao played. Roger Johnson, Aribo, KAG, Reeves, Marshall all played. No Lewis Page.
What is Roger Johnson doing in a Charlton shirt again? He must have been a bit bemused, without any fans to insult.
He can get fit running laps of the pitch or in the gym. RJ doesn't deserve to wear our colours again. It must have been a conscious decision by Robinson to give him a place. I can't believe we were so short of players there was nobody else available. Johnson will probably be signed up again in January.
According to Reams he is a ruddy good bloke. Would never have him back as he’s ****. Found the hysterical overreaction to the Bury saga absolutely laughable.
In any dispute, Reams will automatically side against Charlton fans. That's the default position of the regime and its followers. Charlton Athletic is the first football Club I know of that thinks it will be better off without its fans. Some strange Belgian logic there maybe? Beyond me though. Yet I have heard some bleating recently from apologists about how much the boycott is 'hurting the Club'. Hurting the Club? Surely not! They didn't want the fans there anymore. Fans could 'do one' and good riddance to them. I'm sure that's what I was reading every day on ITTV. Now they've got what they wanted. No doubt Reams and his gang will be pleased as punch if Johnson is signed up again in January after Konsa is sold.
You are missing another one there @lardiman According to the ITTV 6, Charlton will “grow a new fan base”
Starfish can grow new legs I believe, and some lizards can grow a new tail. Must admit I never heard of a football Club losing its traditional fan base and growing another one (without moving to another area). But then I had never heard of a football Club that got relegated after appointing five head coaches, each one being the right appointment at the time according to the CEO... until Charlton Athletic did it. Crikey, imagine where we would be if any of those appointments had not been the right one!
Taffy once posted "I hope they drown in the Thames". From memory this was a reference to CARD. It's the Welsh in him not liking the English.
That's the past. We have to forget it and concentrate on the present. Sort of like gish I suppose, who are supposed to have a two second memory.
