I thought for a moment that the heading referred to someone on here, as in a man who suffers from brewer's droop.

Joe Clutterbrook is, in my experience, the best person on the staff at City, and he has been for some time. The rest don't seem particularly bothered about engaging with the wider fan base in my opinion.

Who is Joe Clutterbrook, Richard?

He's the head of commercial at City. A decent guy in my experience, and seems to genuinely value all fans. There have been some good staff there under the Allams - Ash Lord was fantastic - but I think relations between the club and fan groups could be better. When I was chairing the HCSS that was certainly how I felt.

I wish her replacement well in their search for a new job!

Slight contradiction unless of course you mean that the person offered the job also has another offer which they take instead!

It's certainly a huge task for whoever takes on the role, and suspect the salary on offer is inadequate for the challenges that lie ahead for the incumbent. Frankly its a thankless task for anyone under the current regime.

Note to self:
Try succint instead of subtle.

I know very little about her workings, but all I will say is that when taking the job she probably had good intentions, but we all know that working for the Allam's is that you have to tow the party line. She and others in the past find out after being in the job a while that it is virtually impossible to work under their conditions.
