Been so busy how many of the squad on international duty, I take the odd break from doing other things to keep up with the posts but no time for research!

Given any or all of our players return fit and well and our season kicks off properly IN A WEEKS TIME........

WHAT POSITION DO YOU ALL THINK WE WILL FINISH, BEARING IN MIND WE HAVE HAD A 5 GAME START AND for the next few fixtures there is likely to be some dramatic changes!!!!

No dramatic changes John,we've amassed the amazing total of 5 points from 5 games,no drama in September,we will be lucky to get 4 points, unless of course our dynamic leader does the business with some fabulous loanees.....:emoticon-0118-yawn:

...Oh I forgot, LJ has gone out on loan.so what ever happens it's his fault...:emoticon-0105-wink:

Wiz.....bottom 6 !!!! ever the eternal optimist, would have said pessimist but that would have been if you said bottom 3!!!!
When I first saw the fixture list, I thought B*****x a hard start, and put together my idea of where we might finish up, I had us down for 2 wins 3 draws and 2 losses in the first 7 games then it got easier!
I had us down for losses against Cardiff and Fester, wins against Donny and Brighton and draws against IPS, Ports; and Leeds. ( with Brighton 3 pts and Leeds 1pt ) that is 9 points still obtainable and would if carried through give us a safe 60 points.

The table, that is the ( MY) final one looked pretty cut and dried with an obvious top 6 finishers ( A LOT AGREED THAT * would be top 3/4 teams)

BIRMINGHAM*
MIDDSBORO
WEST HAM*
LEICS*
READING
Nforest

and a likely looking 6/7 or so for the chop

BARNSLEY
COVENTRY
BRIGHTON
DONCASTER
PETERBORO
WATFORD
Cpalace

currently WE CANT be the only dissapointed fans at the start....
how long will CP Brighton and Peterbro keep it up???

As far as Brighton are concerned, all season - I think that they will do a Norwich and so do the bookies as they are now 3rd favourites for promotion. I don't think you quite realise exactly what Gus is doing there John, they have a new stadium, money and most importantly, MOMENTUM...

Yep understand all that Prem, bit of a surprise package, and GP is doing a fine job, Norwich came up well prepared, not saying Brighton arent but they came out of the Prem slipped up by going to div 1 and did well.

I always seem to get a team completely wrong, have done in the past 4 CHAMPS, like Hull and Bpool. could be B&H are the bogies this season!!!

We pretty much have a decent squad now, just need KEEF to get the selection right like he has been known to a few times in the past!!!
AND the team takes it's chances, maybe the better the oppo the better we are!!!!

I tipped Brighton and Southampton to go straight up. Promoted sides coming into this division usually do very well in their first season. Look at us, Reading, Swansea, Millwall and others.

Teams like Palace and Derby who many tipped to struggle are turning the prediction league upside down although it's early days.

I've said we'll finish up in 18th place all through pre season given our lack of inward transfer activity and looking at our very poor start and really tough games to come soon, I may even revise that downwards, unless Millen is replaced (I hope) or we get more decent loanees in because we're still going to ship loads of goals.
