There were a couple of Everton fans all over nufc twitter that have vanished

I wish I could remember the names so I can torture them.

Can anyone remind me the names
I think I can remember two on here who seem to have disappeared but not on Twitter. Will they do? I understand one might have gone AWOL recently.

In tandem with this, referees need to learn that you don’t need to fall on the floor for it to be a foul. If someone is fouled but stays on their feet, they very rarely ever get fouls unless it’s a clear pull or something. It’s partly why players tend to exaggerate the contact and unnatural falls.

That said, some are just awful dives and should def be retro punished.
What gets me is when a player actually tries to stay on their feet but then loses the ball cause of the foul, yet don’t get the foul. It’s like the ref wants the player to go down to make his life easier.

I know being a ref is tough at times but christ we have some **** in this league.

Yup. And that’s why I feel sometimes players massively exaggerate things to make the point to the ref.

I agree: it’s getting worse aswell: it should be part of VAR for me.

It’s not easy for a referee though. There is so much going on. For example initially for your goal I was convinced Milner fouled Schar. On second review it was clear as say he got the ball.

but earlier in the half Jota dived over schars leg. It was given a free kick.

I agree with @Roland Deschain comment earlier about intelligence, you can have all the talent.. the speed, strength, technique but without footballing intelligence it counts for half it could do.

Almiron is a perfect example, he has speed, he has a great engine, his technique is so-so but just imagine if he had better intelligence, knowing when to pass, when to conserve his energy, he’d be so much better. It’s a natural thing though, quite often you just either have it or you don’t, hard to train intelligence into someone. It’s hard enough drilling common sense into someone.

And that’s what Guardiola/Klopp buy. It helps to have deep pockets of course, but these managers aren’t buying superstars, they make them. Raw materials like Mane and Salah are expensive but these lads come in for £30m and are either worth 5 times that, or win you trophies. But you need to get players in who have natural football intelligence. We’re on the right track, Bruno is the perfect example - not a world star but so much game awareness it’s clear he’s only going one way. We’ve had a sprinkling over the years - Cabaye, Merino more recently. We desperately need it. Wilson has a bit of it, Wood has none. Bruno has it in spades, Almiron, ASM, Murphy, etc, have none.

Every now and then I take a minute to absorb the fact nufc has been bought by the sportswashing Saudis and it feels amazing.

Nufc is the next galacticos!!! Let that sink in.

That one in the second half when we should have had a corner and he gave a free kick to them, **** was all that about, right in front of me that.
