Qwerty is today. The lucky so 'n' so is an assistant ref in the Saints v Sunderland U18 game. Just break it to him gently that I already told you so..! :)

Off topic, I read Di Canio's comments in his column. Must say I agree with his stance on players behaving as actors, and that football has now been completely overtaken as a business and is not really a sport - at Premier League level, that is.

I think this is part of what all of us people who dislike the PL are harping on about.

Also, does anyone think he's popped his head above the parapet, so to speak..?

Just saw this on the Echo site. Would do for a couple on here!

    There are...

    Chocolate teapots

    Cats at dog shows

    T!ts on fish

    Ash trays on motorbikes

    Concrete parachutes

    and f@rts in space suits......

which are more useful than the dagger wielding, doomsaying, morale-sapping so called 'Saints' who can only wail when things get tough.

Thank goodness they are such a small minority and the rest of us stick together to get us through.

Hahaha, it took a minute for me to realise the trombone did not belong there before I figured out who it was.

I find myself huddling in close to not606 for a warmth of Saints-supporting sanity. Most of my mates are mini-Gomarchingins, except not quite as... Gomarchingin-y... And they mostly do it to annoy me, when they are discussing how Adkins is useless and needs to be sacked and I start a 5 minute droning monologue as to why this is idiocy, they just interrupt me repeatedly by shouting "26 GOALS" "WORST DEFENCE EVER." etc. So at this point for all my Saints talk I come here as despite how much people complain about how terrible GMI is and how he disrupts and destroys the forums there are plenty of reasonable, thoughtful and interesting posters on here if you just ignore (literally or mentally) the small blip. At this point I think the board is being disrupted more by people complaining about him and letting themselves get annoyed by him than actually by he himself, but that's probably just from my point of view with him on my ignore list.

That would probably explain why the U18's were three up at half time, a biased lino!

The under 18's 4 up they have corrected the scorers to Higgins, Seager, Sims and Rowe, apparently it kicked off at 10:45 not the scheduled 11:30. Not easy to get updates.

It was so that his wife could claim survivor benefits or something because he technically died whilst in office.

Just any excuse to post it really...
