Seafood is okay, but to be fair there's quite a few I've never had.... Scallops, etc. I've tried Mussels but they weren't great. And Lobster seems hard to eat.

Get some scallops...not the massive ones, not the tiny ones. Sprinkle them with salt (kosher if you want to be pretentious). Put a little butter and olive oil in a pan, make the pan very hot. Cook the bastards. Make some sort of very basic sauce that basically consists of butter, lemon and parsley, or don't bother.

Ta da, you've pan-seared yourself some scallops, and they will be good.

Best Lobster I've ever had was NZ Crayfish, which is just a cousin of our lobster. They tend to be bloody huge as well, and it's no trouble getting the meat out of them. In NZ they aren't that massively expensive either. I remember sitting down to one [there were 3 of us, each with a crayfish] and I couldn't get through it. It was delicious, but just shy of that level of deliciousness where, although you are full to the brim, you can still keep eating. So I gave mine to a Kiwi mate who managed to devour both his and the last fifth of mine. He was a Rugby player, so he'd eaten more than one before at one sitting.

Scallops are lovely. They need to be cooked carefully though. Easily buggered up and they aren't cheap. Mind you, go to Yau Brothers over at Northam [Walk out of St Marys to the other side of the road and turn left into Prince's St and keep walking] and you can buy huge packets of the things for less.

Any one ever chosen the Lobster they want to eat while it was still swimming around in a fish tank ? My mum did ......

Don't ****ing read this if you haven't seen the penultimate episode of BB, I swear to god:

[nsfw]I thought that he was a pretty weak addition at first. But holy ****, Todd, All-American Sociopath is a legitimately scary character. Telling her that it wasn't personal before executing her was a brutal reminder that, for his outward manners, he's every bit the insane person that his uncle portrays.

I have no ****ing clue what happens in the finale. Don't think that I've ever gone into the last episode of a major series with less idea of what will take place. [/nsfw]

[nsfw]Todd's scene in the White house was brilliant too. Portrayed a lot through a balaclava. So exciting though, I can hardly wait for next week.

Honestly, I'm just glad it seems that Saul has escaped with his life.[/nsfw]

[nsfw] Kinda obvious Saul lived. Seeing as there is a spin of show coming called Better Call Saul is being mad.[/nsfw]

I know. I think my comment has been misinterpreted slightly. I was agreeing with Jasper when he was saying Squid is delicious.

Ohhh gotcha. I thought you were referring particularly to the breaded squid rings that some restaurants call "calamari" in a feeble attempt to seem fancy.
