Just watched Skyfall; that's a poor film.

Really..? People went overboard about it too. Personally, I've never been a fan of James Bond films. Every single one of them are just a wee bit short of a decent film, in my opinion. Some more, some less. I like the concept of James Bond, but I'm just not convinced they've ever got it quite right. For me, the present actor is one of the better incarnations, but I've not seen Skyfall, and I'm not exactly champing at the bit to see it either.

I think Daniel Craig is an excellent Bond. I was left a little bit disappointed with the film and in not sure how to put my finger on why. Yes, lots of action and stunts, but as a movie/story did it have me enthralled? No, not really. With the character changes within the film, I wonder if they just filled it with action to lead you into relationships in the next movies. The last two Bond films I thought were better stories and although all Bond films are hardly taxing in terms of story line, this one was a little off for me.

And yeah, I think Daniel Craig is a fantastic bond. Being younger I've never really watched many of the bonds before Brosnan, but of the ones I've seen I still think Daniel is the best.

I completely agree. I was baffled by the hype it received when it came out because I didn't like it at all. I'd concede that it was better than Quantum of Solace, which isn't saying much, because Quantum of Solace was a sack of ****.

QoS is probably the worst Bond film I've ever seen, and that's not an exaggeration.

I don't go into Bond films expecting a classic. I think they're enjoyable in their own way.

I agree when it comes to older ones that were enjoyable despite not being technically great films. Quantum of Solace and Skyfall, though, made me bored out of my mind.

Nothing like an early-morning two-hour trip to Guildford. Why people insist on living outside of London and Herts I have no idea. They're just being intentionally awkward.

Any trip to Guildford is a good trip to Guildford.

It's just like another St Albans but in a less convenient location. Why is there no train line from here to there? There's not even a convenient way to get from here to Waterloo. I hate it so.

Yeah train connections kind of suck. It's strange that I can get from Southampton to Manchester or Yorkshire without needing to change, but I always have to change like twice to get to Guildford.

But hey, we have a Pizza Hut and a Domino's right next door to each other so that's something. And a Pizza GoGo somewhere.

I've always preferred the Jason Bourne films to Bond

Casino Royal is the only DC bond film I like.
Watching Only God Forgives last night, it's up there with the weirdest films of all time.
