Sorry but if we had to create a cricket thread surely we've got to create an NFL thread. Don't want Beefy's filled with NFL crap thank you.
There is a whole board devoted to American Football, tomw19.
Guys he has a fair point, we should have an NFL chat thread going on down there.
I'll sticky one up so hopefully everyone will use it to talk NFL related chat and clear things up on here a bit for people who don't want to talk about it.
Love the feeling when you go into a mini-project pretty much certain that it'll fail miserably...and it succeeds. Decided to flash the firmware of an eight-year-old (but still somehow functional) 802.11g router and turn it into a signal repeater, something that has a habit of bricking them with some regularity, but that hardy old $30 POS took it and is working perfectly. Huzzah.
There's also a whole board devoted to motorcycle sports. And motorsports in general. And PC games, for the Rome Total Way chat. And 360/PS3 boards for GTA chat. And TV shows for Game of Thrones/Breaking Bad/etc. And movies and music too, at that. In fact, there's a whole big one for general chat, so that covers pretty much everything. No need for Beefy's guys, let's go!
A non story, really. The kid didn't really fly, he just went up with an instructor who let him take the controls for a bit.
Eric Abidal who has just left Barcelona said the club didn't pay him whilst he was off with liver cancer. Perhaps that is common in football, but seems very harsh to me. Footballers are rich but like most people probably live near their income...would be very difficult to unexpectedly lose your income whilst seriously ill.
As long as you're all ok with AF being discussed here, that's fine by me.
Last year, I tried very hard to get the NFL board up and running, I cleared up all the spam on there, I went to every clubs board to promote it and they weren't all as understanding as you guys!
If it does get too busy here, then I'd love to see a really good community building up down there. I would really appreciate everybody's support and any suggestions on how to improve it too.

Children should be allowed to be children. Amounts to child abuse passing itself off as education. Do you remember that girl who went to Oxbridge at a very early age accompanied by her Dad...she had no friends because she was always with her father and was too young to mix with undergraduates. All turned out badly in the end.
Think my firm pays 12 weeks, but may pay more on a case by case basis. I just thought that footballers would have better contracts than the rest of us.

Only reason I don't really use other forums on here is I am use to chatting to the same people. Coming off the Saints forum there seems to be a lot more idiots about. Think it's due to how the Saints forum is run compared to most of the others.
His work paid 8 weeks, then tried sacking him after he was off loads due to treatment.
Just seen online that after yesterday's U21 game, Luke had a photo with a Saints fan who travelled to the game.
Anyway, today he's found and tweeted this fan asking if they'd like his England shirt.
They said he shouldn't give it away as its a debut shirt, but he says he wore two so they can have the other one.
Not the sharpest cookie but he seems to appreciate the supporters.
