Multiple days without Not606? There'd be riots.

Lol. There a lots of things that we take for granted that this highlights... I hadn't thought of that one. Mobile phone transmitters only have a short back up; water needs electricity to pump; no petrol pumps; no fuel; etc.
 
I don't TSS. I would have been about 5 or 6 I think. I remember quite a lot from then, but just do not remember that. My Dad's a milkman and probably was still delivering his milk, so I may not have noticed.

I remember it. We'd be sat watching the TV and the power would suddenly die on us. Luckily we had a gas cooker, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to cook anything, though I suspect we'd have sorted out a barbecue, as we were a resourceful lot. The candles and oil lamps came out, as did the board games. We got on as best we could, until it was time to go to bed and then the new day would make things normal again. By then the power would have returned, so that breakfasts could be organised. The power was never cut off indiscriminately.
