Indeed they are, but I'm sure you realise that when you make a suggestion/recommendation it has much more chance of taking root if the suggestion is in the same ballpark regards genre, technique, etc. There's a world difference between the two.![]()
Like someone playing a ukulele with his teeth?
I do admit to seeing Jimmy Hendrix playing his guitar with his teeth at the Bournemouth Winter Gardens many years ago.
Remember that kid who kicked a cat on Vine? He's been charged.

Must have been quite the gig Godders? I'm just about too young not to have had the pleasure, though I did go and see an anniversary tour (of his birth) in '92 featuring Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell (both now also sadly deceased). His dad made a speech at the end too. The guy they had playing/singing as Hendrix, well if you'd closed your eyes you just wouldn't have known. Even played a right-handed guitar left-handed too.
Mind you.....I'd still have swapped it for your real experience!
Thank you for the correction. In those days (1967) it was a bit like variety in that Engelbert Humperdinck surprisingly was on the same bill as Jimi, Cat Stevens and the Walker Brothers. I can't remember all of the other artists but the audience was made up of people of all ages, the blue rinse brigade and screaming teenagers. The Walker Brothers were superb but Stevens left the stage in a sulk because all the young girls had hear that he liked jelly babies and so had come armed with them and threw them at him continuously (touch of the Rocky Horror Show). The manager came on to the stage and said that Cat would not return unless they stopped throwing the sweets. They stopped and he came back. That show contained some great songs all performed live and done well.
These links are interesting.

So, tomorrow I actually have work. For four days. Oh, and it's unpaid. But it's something.

Good luck and have fun.![]()
Is it journalism related? Every day I grow more and more tempted to have a go at what you're doing. It seems more enjoyable than my current career path.
