Father in law said he was admitted to hospital with appendicitis that became peritonitis and complications led to resp. arrest. MD came late

Well that explains the inaccuracies then.

**** I hate soaps, the gf watches all of them. It's the same **** every day and no one is ever happy.

So you're ultra tired and hate soap operas. Well, I'm with you on the soaps.

Must say, you used to post more cheerful things when you were still a visible tub of animal fat. :)

<laugh> I'll try not to post when tired then.

Is she the woman who plays Viola?

I've put it on to record, as I missed a lot of it and it's on Film 4+1 but doesn't finish until quite late.... Plus Monday Night is Revolution night :D

Never seen it, but she's the main one in it. Give her a Google, it makes for a fun read.

So what, drugs or something?

Also, they've just had a Boromir "So much fear and doubt over such a little thing, such a pretty thing" moment in Revolution. Clearly someone likes LoTR/Sean Bean.

I am pleased to say that my wife used to watch a lot of them when we first met. She no longer watches any soaps.

I've not been immune in the past. When I was a kid I used to watch Coronation Street, with Ena Sharples, Elsie Tanner, etc.., but I quickly grew out of it. I gave Eastenders a few episodes when it first came out. But when the genre became openly recognised in the 1980's for its ongoing, hooking nature, I realised I was being reeled out and reeled in again. That was enough. I gave them up as one would give up smoking without a twinge of withdrawal. Nowadays, I'm giving up TV as an entire medium, in favour of doing things instead.

After agonising dental work this morning, I've been offered some work with Brentford Football Club this week...

..one problem. I have to get to Hounslow on a Tuesday night and Saturday morning. Help.
