Did you see/hear about the MotoGP earlier TSS?

 

Did I ever. Bloody hell, so many crashes in practice sessions. Jorge buckled his collarbone plate. Dani has slightly fractured his collarbone. Cal has stripped loads of skin off his left arm. And Marquez is on Pole and Espargaro has got 5th on the Aprillia. Have I missed anything out..?

EDIT: Oh yeah, Hector Barbara has broken his foot..! It's that dip in the road at turn 11 [I think] before they go downhill, that really sorts them out. They really ought to do something about that. It's been like it ever since I've watched MotoGP.

 

Mental note: In future don't work all day and then partially move house on the hottest day of the year.

Is that the right hander after all the lefts? I love that corner, I'd love to see one of those meddling F1 cars try it, would be interesting to see how they reacted to it...

 

Yeah, it's a bugger. I'm a bit iffy on Sachsenring. I do like it, but then I wish it was a tad less twisty. Great when you're sat on the back looking through gyrocam though.

I love the bike cams, but I really love gyrocam, don't you..? Valentino turned around and sat across the bike today, after qualifying, and gave us all a little wave, while we sat on the tail. And people sometimes wonder why he is so popular. It's because he makes these little connections with the fans.

Pedrosa's high side was OUCH..!

 

The gyrocam is amazing. It really gives you a feel for how much lean there is! And yeah I saw that from Vale too, he's one of those names that EVERYONE knows, whether you're a motorbike fan or not. Kinda like Michael Schumacher.

Both Pedrosa and Lorenzo's looked nasty. Wonder if Lorenzo will make Laguna Seca or not...

 

AoK is £7.50 on Steam, should I get it? On the one hand, it's still quite a lot for a game that came out in about 2000. On the other hand, it won't go any cheaper (this is Steam after all) and it'll definitely work on Windows 8, which the CD I may have somewhere won't do. Plus, you can play it online.

Don't count out Lorenzo from coming back for Laguna. If Pedrosa doesn't start tomorrow, or DNFs or picks up few points, then I think Lorenzo will keep pushing to come back sooner rather than later. Lorenzo is brave bordering on bloody silly, in my opinion. Remember when he rode with two broken ankles..?

Dani always breaks something during a season, and this is about the time where it traditionally starts. Thing is, Marquez was brought in, after Stoner, to push him along and that fact is, is that, like Stoner, he's faster. In terms of raw speed he can have Dani, and I think Pedrosa knows it.

Cal is really looking bloody good on the Tech Trois, don't you think..? The Honey-Badger is hunting them down. And of course, if Rossi wins again tomorrow you'll be able to hear the cheer in NI.

Espargaro is doing wonders on that CRT.

If Pieking is referring to the last Labour Govt, then that one was the most right-wing of any Labour Govt I can think of. Indeed, there haven't been any elected Communist governments, as far as I'm aware of. Socialist, yes.

 

Labour used to be pretty socialist, yeah. New Labour is as capitalist as they come.
