Unless everyone thinks you're weird, then your confidence will be lower than ever.

    Good luck PL!

To be fair, half of my new colleagues I'll already know lol. At least until I move to London (it's based in London but I'm in Basingstoke tomorrow and may be in other days).

I am qualified, of course, just I know more about marketing books than marketing journals. But I spent three times more time working in marketing books than journals. Although I suppose it's mostly the same, instead of "Buy this book because it's awesome" it's "Subscribe to this journal because it's awesome". But thank you for your words of reassurance, everyone.

Good luck PL. I can't help but feel you need to steel up a bit though.

That's actually extremely good advice. In any books on positive attitude or self-help the phrase is to have a good conceit of yourself, or to portray a good self image. People aren't programmed to respond to the image of a loser or victim.

They shoot me down, but I won't fall. I AM TITANIUMMMMMMMMMM

But yeah, it's cool. I know everyone there so yeah, I'm sure confidence won't be a problem.

I don't like it either tbh.

However, Lucy Spraggan in the X-Factor did a good version of it.

She added her own lyrics to a mediocre song to actually give it some kind of emotional depth, so fair play to her for that.

Though I do prefer Mountains, that's a great song. I actually bought the X-factor performance of that, the first and only time I've ever bought a recording of an X-factor performance.

Wow, that's like almost, nearly, sort of writing your own song!

How can you dislike Ollie Murs? :(

    (and the song I posted!)

A few of the songs she sung were completely self-written. She had way more talent than 90% of the people in the X-Factor.
