I love it, just absolute sledgehammer technology with a bit of science thrown in. Bigger rocket, more fuel, bigger bang......go!

Seen that video before, but I'll never get tired of it. My stomach turned when the boosters were released and they spun round, and I jumped when it hit the water. Some pretty cool sounds as well, which I guess are due to the metal reacting to changing temperatures and winds and stuff.

So I bought Populous the Beginning from the PSN store and normally that'd be a good thing but apparently it's impossible to save the game as when you assign a memory card slot, it doesn't have enough room to save the game so the only way you can complete it is if you play through the entire thing without saving or turning off. What a complete waste of money that turned out to be.

So I did a little bit of research and apparently you have to create a virtual memory card. I had one which was already mostly empty but apparently Populous the Beginning takes up way more blocks than FF VII, but at least it means I can save now. There doesn't seem to be a limit of memory cards you can create but only two can be active at once (which sort of reflects the original Playstation in that regard).... So yay! Populous the Beginning! And I can save! :D

Redding takes 4th, and Danny Kent takes his first points of the season for 13th. The future of British motorcycle racing is in good hands <ok>

Looks like it was a good race. Espargaro, Rabat and Luthi, the 123. Redding still miles in front. I shall watch that later. Just settling down for the biggie.

I don't get why news reports get honours, they are only doing their job.

I don't get why most people get honours. If there must be an honours system, and I'm not a great fan of them, especially under the present system, then it should be purely for ordinary people who do exceptional work outside of their normal working lives.

I would've liked to have seen Hunt get a posthumous honour. Yeah he was a bit of a playboy, but the fact is he was one of the finest racers in what was a dangerous era, and the fact he also gave his services to the commentary booth in his own unique way, surely he must be recognised in someway.

And how long until Murray Walker gets his knighthood!?

Most people DON'T get honours .

I agree with the system in principle , but feel they are given away a bit to easily .

All set for a day of sport and looks like a washout. England will probably go out if it is rained off today...unless Australia just beat Sri Lanka. NZ will go through with one win and 2 wash outs...shame, but that's how it goes sometimes.
