    Hey, I have nothing against talking to strangers, just approaching big groups of people you don't know in a pub is quite a daunting prospect, and 90% of people are in big groups.

    To be fair, if I were alone in a pub and female, and reasonably attractive (and I'd like to think I would be attractive if I were a woman with my long dark wavy hair) I expect there'd be plenty of guys that would come over and talk to me. Most of them would probably just want to get in my pants though, those jerks.

    Annoying that you can bet on the top London club, top Northwest club, top Midlands club, top Northeast club, and top Welsh club, but no one is taking action on the top club on the South Coast. Shame, because I'd love to put some money on us achieving that feat.

    Yep, I know. And not single special effect to be seen. In an era of impressive things, there is still something hugely impressive about a dirty great rocket climbing into the sky. When I was a kid I used to be so staggered by the Saturn V rockets taking off for the Moon that they'd sometimes make me cry. It wasn't that I was scared of them, it's just that my little brain was trying to encompass the enormity of what they were trying to do and my young emotions couldn't hack it. I guess I was just sensitive of beautiful things and nobody is going to tell me that isn't a form of beauty.
