Random question: Propaganda.... is that a chain like Whetherspoon? And if so, does it have a dance floor or anything or is it literally just kinda seats and tables? Looking through the window, it looked mostly seats and tables.

Thanks dude! It actually had nothing to do with our new kit manufacturer; I was really after some something inthe Vans style (but not Vans), but with the classic old Dunlop coluoring (white with green trim and laces). Couldn't find anything like that but came across these beauties instead.

As for the mud; there's no worry there. These are purely for special occasions! I have plenty of battered dirty old trainers for trips to the park

I actually had a pair of those Dunlop shoes, but they found their way into the mud and got ruined

 

Back from Sheffield. Didn't think the place was as bad as people made out. But I was only there for a day and a half.

Thankful to be home though.

 

Anyone watching the Brazil v Japan game. Japan losing 1-0 but looking to threaten all the time

 

Just seen Superman in IMax and have to say it's one of the best films I have seen.

 

Enjoying the game. Brazil obviously full of talent, but Japan look handy as well. Yoshida playing well. Didn't realise that Cesar was in goal for Brazil...was thinking how dodgy he was.

See, part of me wants to go a local pub and get drunk and see if anything interesting happens. On the other hand, if I go on my own (which I would) I'd just be sat there drinking more and more vodka which wouldn't be that fun and it's not like anyone would come over. At least if there was a dance floor, that would be a bit more fun, but as far as I'm aware, nowhere here has one (nor are there any live bands or anything performing tonight) except for the nightclub, which I'd definitely rather not go to alone.

Sounds like you could do with a trip to a friendly city on the continent.

 

I think the JPN kit with red stripes instead of black would suit us very nicely.
