Bridger admitted he caused April's death and claimed he ran her over with his Discovery. He says he can't remember what happened after that, and can't remember where he put her body. They found traces of her blood inside the car and traces of what may have been human bones in his fireplace.

Real Madrid have agreed a £40m deal for Luis Suarez with Liverpool. He will sign a four-year deal this summer. (Marca)

It doesn't really matter if he gets 15 years or a whole life tariff, his life will be ruined whatever and he'll have to live the rest of his life with what he has done. I don't know the full facts, but why has he got a whole life tariff?

It can also affect the jury's verdict.

I agree 100%. It's actually why I don't know much about the details of this case. Revealing every last nuance as it happens is NOT in the public interest, when it encroaches on the private lives of victims or innocent relatives, friends and community.

Thanks for filling in the gaps, Chilco. Words fail me.

And in some cases, the accused is innocent too. The perfect example is the recent Harry Redknapp court case. The whole country had already deemed him guilty and then of course he was acquitted, making millions of people look like idiots. Innocent people suffer damage to their reputations so that the media can have their circus, and I fail to see how that's not unacceptable defamation.

Well I was including them in the victims category, but I concede that one should be clear on these things.

It's great coming on here and just clicking on all the links provided. Well, not the horrific things that some disturbed people have done. But those squash shots that TSS just posted were insane in the membrane. Also just spent a fair chunk of time watching those videos from the link Dan posted earlier (think it was on this thread). That man was so happy to be catching clams. The lego ball machine was fun if pointless. So much time to be wasted watching peculiar videos online. Maybe I'll do something productive now...

haha yeah, that one too. I've just spent an hour or more watching videos from this thread that I forget to show my appreciation for some of them. Stone Cold E.T just wanted to order a couple of cheeseburgers and maybe a drink. Give me a ohhh hell yeah.

Not quite the productivity that I had in mind, but I keep watching them. At least I now know how to make a chocolate pokeball with a to scale pikachu, I'm sure that will come in handy one day.
