Don't play games these days apart from the odd escape game, but the last time I was really engrossed with a genuine shoot-em up it was Soldier of Fortune [still have the CD somewhere]. Let's see if I can be playing within 10 minutes too. :)

Oh dear. No WinRAR..! A little trip over to Old Version.com will solve that little hindrance. Still well on schedule for that 10 minutes.

I need to get Battlefront 2 on this laptop. Without a doubt my favourite game.

Downloaded, training game played, found to be awful, uninstalled and back within 20 minutes, with a glass of red in between. Notify me when Medal of Honour becomes a free download. :)

Not PC, but I'm hoping they release Jade Cocoon on the PSN. I don't even mind paying for it.

Used to love SoF, I think I mostly played the second one though.

On another note, I got round to playing that GeoGuessr...

I think the closest individual one was 0.002km, does that make me world champion of everything?

That's a shame. Did you recognise the voice of Rik Mayall doing the tutorial?

Can you stop posting all these time sinks until after exams. Thanks. <ok>

PS Got over 10,000 on geoguessr, it's all about the draw though, if you get China/Japan then quit.

Biggest problem I had was on the Bulgarian/Romanian border where all the street-signs and whatnot were in Cyrillic script, but eventually I found a hotel near the border with the town name in English on it, then I just had to scroll across a couple of hundred miles of the Danube until I found it!

Hmm, no I didn't but now you come to mention it. Yeah, I can hear him. Sorry Joe, it didn't do it for me.

I feel I need to get my old edition of D.I.D.'s utterly superb F-22 Raptor flight simulator out, which even the last time I put it on a PC and tested it, still had me going long after I needed to. Can you believe it was written for Windows 98..? Of course, back then you had to have a state-of-the-art PC to run it, full up. Nowadays it runs like a dream, with everything up to the maximum, in the most banal of modern Windows computers, and the dynamics still give you that seat-of-the-pants feel. Someday, someone will write a whole new graphics set for that original game engine and they will have a brilliant and cheap new piece of simulation software that will be downloaded by the bucket load.

    EDIT: Found this:

Hey, I've stepped up to the techno world at last. I'm currently posting on a public iPad in Minneapolis airport! Get me.

What's all this ****e about everyone leaving? I leave town for a week and the world falls apart!

Rock n roll with the Jerk chicken! Salt Fish and Ackee is a phenomenal dish too although I don't know how big it is in Trinidad as it is the national dish of Jamaica!

Changing GCSE grades from A-F to 1-10 seems pointless.
