Dare I venture to suggest that, because you are trying so hard to be loved, you are appearing to women as a victim, and that's cutting down your chances.

It's often been said that the sexist blokes are the ones who are already fixed up [to put it bluntly], which kind of makes things doubly unfair. :)

In truth, a bloke who already has a partner will possibly/probably exude more confidence than a bloke who doesn't. People don't like to see a lack of genuine confidence. It's human nature to like confident people, providing they aren't arrogant ****wits [and I swore especially for you]..!

I know it's an emotional minefield you're treading through. Give yourself the credit that you are sensitive enough to be suffering. There are enough blokes around who wouldn't know how to spell imotion, let alone experience one.

No thank you. That'll give them the best chance of continuing their domination. I want to see a change in the order.

Hey pompeylapras. Dont get too down, all good things come to those that wait.
I am basking in the joy of a 4 day old daughter and if a mate had asked me a few years ago if this was possible I would have told him to check his head.
Things move quickly and despite supporting the team you have been loaded with you WILL find the right girl. relax mate

Put yourself out there, meet people, see what happens without putting any expectations on your interactions. Don't chase, don't obsess, don't fret; put looking for a relationship out of your mind entirely and try to have some fun. You'll find someone, or someone will find you.

While this might seem like a disaster, it's not; be her friend, even if you want to be more, and don't push it. Why? Because, beyond potentially having a good friend, you also have someone looking out for you. If you're out somewhere with her and one of her friends take interest, she'll be the one letting you know. I ended up dating a girl for quite some time after a friend of mine pointed out that said girl, a mutual friend who I'd met a few times at parties, seemed to paying a fair bit of attention to me.

I'd rather see them both get relegated. That's the kind of change of order I'm after.

I'd like to see the top 6 caught in a whiff of scandal about match fixing, which can be traced all the way back to the formation of the Premier League and totally undermines ManU's, Chelsea's and Arsenal's dominance to the point where their titles are wiped away. Then they are summarily relegated out of the leagues and have to re-apply, being saddled with the reputation of being cheaters. Oh, and the Premier League collapses and we return to Football League Divisions 1 to 4, with SKY begging to be retained as the major provider of coverage. To which the FL metaphorically kicks sand in their face and tells them never to darken our hallowed portals of professional football again. SKY collapses, and footballers reconnect with the fans and are paid an honest wage again.

    Well, I can dream, can't I..? <laugh>

I agree , spent a long time thinking the same as you Pl , I had given up and then me and the lovely Mrs jasper met at work , it just happened and I'm sure it will happen , it may take time , but the last thing you need to do is get down abut it , all things come to he who waits , or something like that .

I'm not suggesting it will be easy , but it will be worth it !
