I think I've only ever seen the first one all the way through. The first one is a classic though. And for some reason, I relate it to Christmas? Probably on Christmas tv or something.

Alan Rickman! Breakthrough role I think? Although that film did come out a year before I was born!

I've only seen the first and 4.0. The first is badass, 4.0 made me want to cry.

    Die Hard - awesome
Die Hard 2 - very good
    Die Hard 3 - good
    Die Hard 4 - average

Die Hard 4 was ok, but nowhere near as good as the others. And on the basis of the pattern above, I am not bothering to see the 5th or the 6th films.

Christ, how old are you..? 6 or something..? :) As it happens I've never seen any of the Die Hard films.

I thought Alan Rickman's breakthrough role was starring in BBC's The Barchester Chronicles, where he brilliantly became Obediah Slope.

If I point out how Top Gun was six years before I was born, does that mean I've not even been conceived yet?

    Lol

On Pointless (watching it on Challenge as there's nothing else one), the question was words that end in zz. And one person said Jizz, that got a few chuckles in the audience.

I might be a little bit older then 6. Die hard came out in 1988!!

Maybe so, Wikipedia thinks his breakout performance was as the Vicomte de Valmont in Les Liaisons Dangereuses.

Of course. He's very amusing though. When he talks of his London tube stories and about porn. Amusing fella.

Yeah. He makes me laugh quite often on there. Plus he is interesting for me, as I follow Serie A anyhow.
