Very random name, but in a position we do need to stregthen. The article doesn't state what full-back position he occupies, but Wikipedia indicates Right Back who can play in the centre.

Because it's rather amusing and tongue-in-check and a very creative way way of advertising a match against a local rival. It's completely different to anything you generally, but English by on large people are too boring and proper to do anything like that.

Except for Lewes FC, they've been running an excellent poster-based advertising campaign recently.

While we're on the subject of the MLS, I've just learned that Seattle have sold out every league game since they joined the MLS four years ago, set records for average attendance, led the league in season ticket sales, and qualified for the playoffs every season.

 

And they have a ridiculously awesome stadium.

This is the explanation. But come along, surely it is not awesome nor beyond amazing. It is amusing and different perhaps, and I'm sure it appeals to some, but aren't we going a little overboard here..? I mean, man taking the first powered flight at Kittyhawke or landing men on the Moon was awesome and beyond amazing [both American feats, by the way], so where does this fit into that reference standard..?
