It wouldn't take so long if they just used normal bloody words that everyone can understand.

 

Surely someone in the court should work as a translator. Rather than transcribing, just translate.

 

So, no reply to my message I sent on Wednesday yet but according to my newsfeed she's been online today and yesterday as well as Wednesday after I sent the message. It may be that she's only been online via phone which might be why she hasn't replied yet. Tbh, I probably wouldn't reply to a message by phone, they're good for a sentence or two, but not for much more than that. Also, my horoscope for toady in the Daily Mail is quite positive #clutchingstraws

 

You shouldn't do these things by Facebook. It'll drive you slowly insane.

 

Speak in person or on phone then you get a reply straight away...otherwise you will be wondering if she's seen it or if she's been abducted by Martians before she could reply.

 

Too late for that (the driving me insane part I mean)

Unfortunately I'm unlikely to see her in person unless it's pre-arranged as we no longer work together. But on Facebook now, it now tells you at exactly what time someone reads a particular message. Not sure that's always a good thing to know though.....

Dammit. I had no idea it did that. I always read messages and then take a week to get back. Now instead of looking like a casual facebook user, it's now obvious that I am just lazy and useless. Nevermind.

Bad luck on the attempted date Lapras, there's still a chance, but generally if you are interested you'd get back sooner rather than later. Next time though, I'd take Fran's advice and stick to either face-face (makes it harder for them to turn you down too!!) or via the telephone.
