Probably the only thing I need to do in repetition is to go to bed and turn on a small computer I built especially for the purpose, connected to a small hi-fi. About 30+ years ago, I started listening to Radio 4 plays at the weekends. Then I realised that I was missing loads during the day when I went to work, so I got the various bits of equipment together to allow me to use the hi-fi to record the plays while at work. Years later, I started to digitise them as mp3s, and nowadays have over a few thousand hours of broadcast radio plays, series and comedy shows, and I'm adding to them all the time. Not only do I think it is necessary for me to keep on collecting [I've even re-supplied the BBC their own stuff in the past], but it's absolutely necessary for me to listen to something during the night, because nowadays I've got tinnitus [probably due to so much listening]. Last night was both series of the Aubrey-Maturin novels by Patrick O'Brian [Master and Commander for example, for those unfamiliar] and tonight possibly The Diary of Samuel Pepys. I do love a good period seafaring series. All that cannon fire going off. I usually put them on after I've had 10 pages or so of the latest book I'm reading. It's a C.S Forrester Hornblower novel. Well it would be...

Nice to see we're only the second most important Saints forum.

Thinking about it though, Gmail is always the first tab I open, except for when I'm just popping on the laptop for a second to check something specific.

I usually load Facebook first, then Not606. Then it usually another forum I'm a member of, then Gmail.

I've only ever been on SaintsWeb when someone has come on here saying GMI is doing something funny over there. I get all of my Saints news and gossip from here.

    Regarding odd things .

I have to put the food for our 3 cats down in a specific order .

When I buy any beer to have at home , I have to buy a packet of Opal fruits , even if I throw them out , which I often do , I have to buy a packet .

If I buy a coffee to take away and split the plastic lid I have to buy another one or if I don't have the money on me , have to leave it on the counter and walk away .........

    More OCD things....

When I go to bed at night, if I have the TV on, no matter what channel it was on, I put it on BBC1. Then I turn off the virgin media box, then turn it back on, then turn it back on again. Then I turn the tv off, then I turn it on again, then I turn it on again.

Also, if I haven't got my phone already plugged in, I'll pick it up and before plugging it in, I will tip it from side to side while counting up to 50. Once I've counted up to 50, I'll plug it in.

OCD things are very odd indeed. No offence. I just don't understand them at all, and how they come about? Do you have to have a predisposition to OCD and then some sort of traumatic event that sets it off. Or can it happen to anybody?
Did anyone see the Undateables? There was a women on that with severe OCD and Aspergers. Her OCD was insane. She couldn't do anything. She could never be too close to anyone, not even her own mother. Nobody was allowed in her flat and she had to use things like her key and shoe to help open doors because she didn't want to touch them because other people had. It must be a very lonely life to be like that. From an outsiders perspective it's very difficult to understand why.
