No snow in SW London....YET. Meant to start snowing between 8 and 9am and continue snowing all day.
 
We often miss the snow on the Island, but snowing and settling here (about two inches). Luckily, I have three days off now as I live on a hill which can be a bit hazardous. Was planning a trip away this weekend, but guess that's off. Looks pretty.
 
It's a bit strange with everyone talking about how much snow has settled when it's bone dry where I am. Admittedly not for much longer. It's a case of when it starts snowing, it's not going to stop until Sunday at the earliest here.
 
I love snow... but who remembers matches in the snow? Had some classic Sunday league games befor.e everyone got so safety conscious... now we can't even play in a light drizzle!
 
The weather never stopped us playing football as children. Come rain or shine we were always outside kicking a ball around.

The kids today are just far too soft and pampered.

I wonder if my postman will come in his shorts today? He has done so far all through December and January!
