Is it illegal to watch football online on a website like firstrow? Interested to know if I'm a law breaker every weekend.

I know it's illegal to broadcast over the internet in that way, not sure about watching it though. Probably is.

It's like pirating as far as I know, it's illegal at both ends but only those at the broadcasting end are really going to get into any trouble for it. So many people watch them that, like pirating, it would be a fool's errand trying to prosecute hundred's of millions of people across the world, so they are trying to cut off the supply. That's how it is at the moment as far as I'm aware, but things could change so watch yo back son!

Jumping back a bit, yes Fran had most of the story right. In the days leading up to the earthquake in 2009, there were some small tremors in the region, but the Major Risks Committee reassured the public that there was no increased risk of a major event. As it turned out, an earthquake did happen, and 308 people died. A few days ago six scientists and an official recieved six years in prison, for giving false reassurances in the lead up to the disaster.

Alex Nicholls of Northampton scored, but in the same incident a Port Vale defender went for him very late. Both bones in his lower leg are clean broken, and he was tended to on the pitch for 11 minutes after. My mate was at the game, says the Vale fans jeered at him when he went down and waved off the ambulance when it left the ground.

    Saw this earlier, poor guy.

Also, in other injury news which may benefit Saints, Swansea keeper Michel Vorm is out for 4-6 weeks.

That photo is awful. That's just not right.

How horrid, typical football fans. Bring back the Olympics, at least for a few weeks people acted with some degree of decency.

Wow that photo is not easy on the eye. Hope it hasn't ended his career.

Early night for me. Running/stumbling the Great South Run tomorrow, I'll be the bearded one somewhere near the back so make sure you look out for me! Hoping to see Billy and Iwan Thomas....oh and Kelly Holmes is starting the race I think. Should be fun. Anyway...good luck to any others taking part!

Stephane Mbia: “I thought [they] QPR were a Scottish club. Marseille needed the money. I would never have thought of coming here.”

    Mbia on QPR tactics:

“There is only playing, very little tactics. We don’t really train in the week, we have rest days, but we haven’t the right to mess up on match days.”

Well my opinion of Mbia has been significantly lowered today after that ridiculous foul, and now it turns out he's never heard of QPR? I know he's not from here and they're hardly a massive team, but he's a professional footballer. Surely he should know this stuff. I can name more obscure French teams.

Considering QPR are such an embarrassing, poorly-run club, I think he's a perfect fit for them.

Not really, he just thinks outside the box and gets ridiculed by it. The funny thing is this, he has predicted so much stuff that has actually happened.

I found him to be a weirdo at first, but he has some interesting theories. I can't get my head around the Reptilian theory, but agree with him on Education and media though.
