Was adults, I laughed it off at the time but I'm a bit annoyed about it all now. They won the game as well! Anyway I'm gonna sit in the bath with a beer.

How do you do that, by drilling holes in the bottom of the tin?

Just seen Evander Holyfield is losing his home and is 10 million in debt after blowing 350 million fortune. Can you even imagine blowing that kind of money? He is half a million behind in child support for his 11 children. That is money he shouldn't avoid, but in general rich men from poor backgrounds are often taken for a ride by hangers on...who usually manage to come out ok. Apparently, he has paid a tithe (usually one tenth of income) to various tele-evangelists for years including one who changed his surname to Dollar (bit of a clue there). Mad world.

Very interesting article. Learning mandarin would be very useful and probably guarantee your child a job in the future. The limitations of the language must be in technology....can you imagine a Chinese typewriter? They have had to introduce a simplified writing system to help even their own people to learn the language. This has come up against the Chinese respect for tradition, but is gaining ground.

That must have given you the pip, Lapras.

I did Latin at my school, which isn't much use really.

    "Mens sana in corpore sano"

Which doesn't apply to me much.

Two people have already died attempting this! I'm really nervous for the man and his family. I can't believe how selfish he is doing something so dangerous when he has a wife and young child.

His mother is there and she cried when the balloon took off. Always the way with explorers, but not sure what the point is...ought to be for more than just the record.
