Using 'would of' is no where near as bad as the incorrect use of less and fewer. :D

No squit with the odd typo - hell's teeth, we all make those, especially when typing furiously and not reading back before posting.

I use Google Chrome, which appears to have an inbuilt spell checker so that anything it's slightly dubious about is underlined in red to draw my attention to the fact it may need changing.

Anyhoo, none of this has anything remotely to do with Beef's thread - for which apologies <ok>

Get a grip, it's an easy (and sometimes slips past most people unnoticed) thing to do and doesn't radically alter the meaning of the statement in which it's used.

'I could have run faster' is the past conditional tense of 'I can run faster' - 'I could of run faster' is
cringeworthy as it makes no grammatical sense at all <grr>

Quality piece Beefy, well done. Apart from the minor faux-pas (LOL) think you are pretty much spot on. CH could become a cult figure at CR.

Yowsers. Someone couldnt find their crackpipe this morning. Thought it was a pretty decent read and helped me waste 5-10 minutes before I go girlfriend birthday shopping - largely in agreement with the majority, but that doesnt detract from it...so please accept this pat on the back. Its only the standard back pat package of course, as opposed to the gold edition.

Totally agree <ok> "would of" is entirely wrong and makes absolutely no sense at all whereas I personally have absolutely no problem with the "less" and "fewer" issue that seems to rile some people because to me both do make sense <ok>

The one that does my head in is when people talk "pacifically" about a "pacific" subject rather than specifially about a specific one.

But at the end of the day it doesn't annoy me that much <ok>

I know we have our ups and down beefy, but can i just say what a fantastic thread you have posted here, instead of the normal abuse.

Are you sure supers hasn't hacked into your account?

Great Thread Beefy. I agree with your evaluation of the squad. Did you say about players you would sell/loan out to make sure the numbers keep to the 25 man squad?
