I thought long and hard before I promoted that........and although it might seem to promote us in a differing way. I asked advice from several sources from people for their view, all neutral. They had a different view although they acknowledged that there was a few who gave us shall we say a very biased and narrow thinking view. However most people reading that will understand the passion of the club....which is well represented in the comments. As soon as there is a decent piece on Saints with around 200 words as an opener which is usually the criteria. I will be quite happy to promote it if I think it ok. Also remember I am bound to consider all threads and not just "Happy fans views". As Has proved in the last article.........I have to include some of shall we say "some of the less popular posters". For a balanced view of things. Yes it might be a bit embarrassing because of some of the language that is spoken and thoughts expressed. In the long run, it will not do the club harm people will know we are passionate.
Oh ok.......I did get some criticism from some quarters though.....as I explained I have to be neutral.....
I have only the utmost respect for you, Beds. Only a few people know how much you and the others have had to put in on here. You must have read the equivalent of War and peace, Crime and punishment and Gibbons Decline and fall of the Roman Empire, unabridged version, in the past year or so! Good luck fella! Sorry to read you are stopping being a Mod - always a gentlemen and a diplomat - often behind the scenes with private messages. You have stood firm to your principles and are due the respect of us all. That said, I would think it is a good time to move on - this forum has degenerated so much in the past six to twelve months - the values you and others expounded at the onset have been so diluted.
